- SANTORINI, GREECE
Santorini is an island in the Southern Aegean Sea, 200 km South – East from Greece’s mainland. Simply its name is more than enough to unfold in mind stunning sunsets and scenery, white, red and black sand beaches, impressive traditional houses, balconies and living night life.
Mostly holiday makers stay where the beaches are Kamari and Perissa which represent the island’s amazing distinctiveness. Apart from this there are Fira, Imeerovigli or Oia, which are the towns of the cliffs. They are very beautiful and full of little cages,shops and places of interest. There is a bus that goes to the beaches every day and it is much better to be in the towns in the evening and on the beaches during the day. Other highlights of the island include Akrotiri and Archaeological Site,Ancient Thira and the Black sand beach of Perissa.
The island of Santorini was formed out of lava from the volcanic eruption in 1660 BC. Today it is the only inhabited Caldera in the world.
2. BALI, INDONESIA
Bali is the most famous island in Indonesia. Its spectacular mountain scenery, tropical beaches, famous surf spots, popular dive sites and the scared temple are no secret and yet there is so much more to discover.
Bali is famous for its coffee called kopi luwak which is the world’s most expensive coffee. The beans of the coffee are collected from the digestion of a civat cat. Apart from this, the beaches scattered all over Bali are considered one of the best in the world. Other than the typical tropical white beaches its offers, Bali also offers a gold chain of magnificent black sands. e.g. Lovina Beach.
Another unique fact bout Bali is the Neypi day, also known as ‘day of silence’. Its unique celebration among the Bali people. The whole islands shuts down and no work,travelling or even noise is allowed. Bali has two active volcanoes, Mt Batur and mt Agung in the East. Both volcanoes has become a prime tourist hot spot and target of many visitors interested in trekking and nature. Bali offers a visually colorful culture and indeed is an amazing place to visit!
3. DALMATIAN, CROARTIA
